In shifting sands my world of gray
Stands still and cold about to fray For lest it not be made of stone, Made of lifeless brittle bone I fear it would wither and fade To nothingness, naught but decay And dust. And yet a green leaf still sways From the dead fingers of the twisted tree Denying time and denying truth That my world is dead, absent of ruth Full view please. Big file is big. So this started out as just a background for a project I've been working on, but so much of it was covered up, and I was having so much fun with it, I just turned it into a picture by itself. XD I've never been so proud of a bunch of rocks in my life.  I worked on it for three days lol. I learn new stuff every time I do a big piece like this. This time's lesson was that the spatter brush is my friend. Oh, and I wrote a crappy little poem. :]aaand I just noticed some things I gotta fix. XD Bad timing. |
